CHAMELEON: WILD BOYS

In 2021, a friend introduced me to writer and performer Sam Mullins, who wanted to pitch a story that, a teen growing up near Sacramento, I had heard before. But the story Sam wanted to weave was from a completely new angle. I helped push the project through the pitch process to greenlight, and then re-joined the show in the final months of production, overseeing audio post-production and handling overall team management. The production was led by Campside’s Abukar Adan, writing by Sam Mullins, editing by Karen Duffin, fact-checking by Alex Yablon, and sound design by Hannis Brown and Garrett Tiedemann. What a dream team.

It’s beautifully paced, with excellent cliffhangers and much care in the sound production. … I was gripped and surprised throughout Wild Boys, right up to the final episode. It really doesn’t go where you think it will.” - Miranda Sawyer, The Guardian
